Transcribed from the programme AT LONG LAST Shakespeare comes to Eversden. For many years now our audiences have asked us for something more serious. "Enuff of this 'umour! What about a bit of culture", has been the frequent cry.
We have
finally bowed to public pressure and are delighted to present for you
one of William's most moving plays, his famous tragedy, the Scottish
Play, 'Macbeth'. It has been adapted by David MacGilIivray
